Green Turtle Bay Marina
Who is BUD?
I’ve been wondering who BUD is all week. He obviously needs help knowing where to go, and there are signs here that help him. He should left, then right, and then how can he go both ways?? Whatever way he goes, apparently he is OK.
Anyway, we head out tomorrow to Pebble Isle Marina on Kentucky Lake. We have no lock and dams and only 70 miles to go. It should be uneventful. Both Barkley and Kentucky Lake are beautiful areas. It would be interesting to be able to spend more time here exploring the coves and anchorages.
Grateful is ready to go. The engines sound great and seem to be in good working order. Mark has cleaned Grateful thoroughly on the outside, and he has redesigned one panel of Grateful’s controls. Yes, Don, Mark has used his skill saw at least two times already on this trip. We are ready for more adventure!!!
What a GREAT idea! I am directionally challenged and should think about utilizing the strategy of drawing arrows as to where I need to go! Bud is a smarty pants!
ReplyDeleteM&C,
ReplyDeleteGoogle Earth as a great view of Pebble Isle Marina which doesn't appear as large as your last port of call. And the radar appears it might be raining. So this might be a great time to snuggle up and stay warm. How is your TV working?
T&L
I think some bozo spray painted those signs on the road so tourists would take pictures of them and follow them around town. Seems it worked!
ReplyDeleteDid you get your bikes out yet? I'm patiently awaiting the pics of you on your bikes pulling the little cart thingy with Port in the bag. Hope you get use out of all of that stuff.
Wishing you more adventure as you travel South to the sunshine & warmth. Keep truckin'!
Love you!!!
