Lake City to Trempealeau

We have been going for a couple of days now and have made it to McGregor, IA. Wednesday was a glorious autumn day and the fall colors were beginning to show. Also, the Army Corps of Engineers were out working hard. We believe we saw wing dams in the making to slow the erosion of the shoreline. We also passed dredgers and, of course, towboats and barges.
