April 7-9, 2010



Bimini Sands Resort, S Bimini

We spent our last couple of days at Bimini Sands Resort in S Bimini before crossing to America.

We spent time on the beach and celebrated the uninterrupted sunset.

We had dinner at the resort with new friends Maya and Dieter, and a last walk on the beach for Kalypso and Porter. They shared a coconut.

On Friday morning, Ocean Drive left at 7:00 for Miami and Grateful left at 7:30 for Ft. Lauderdale. Meeting new friends is one of the best parts of this trip. Safe travels to Dieter, Maya & Kalypso!!

Both Mark and I love the Bahamas and know we will return – maybe as soon as next winter. The beautiful beaches and indescribable waters have found a place in our hearts.

    Have fun in Fort Lauderdale, to bad we couldn't have been at the condo to see you guys! If your looking for a good place to eat, there is a place on the intercoastal called shooters. It is one of my all time favorits, and you and tie the boat up there or take a water taxi! it is right buy the Oaklund or comersheil dirve bridge (I can never remember). It was 70 here today, and the Brake Away was suppose to hit the water today, I'm going to try to go down on the weekend with Grandpa and Grandma and do a little spring cleaning. say hello to Fortlauderdale for me!

    Hi Alex, It would have been great to see you in Ft Lauderdale. We did see Shooters when we took the water taxi on Saturday. I think they even give you a special deal if you get there by water taxi. We'll have to give it a try. I can't believe it is so warm in MN. Have fun this weekend and make your Gma and Gpa take you out for dinner!!
